Their unconditional love, their quickness in forgiving you, the sweet words they say and of course all the hugs and kisses. Oh, and the fact that they think you are the best mommy in the whole wide world.
Definitely the love your kids give - they're so genuine!! And having to 'get over yourself' for the good of your kids - whether they're sick in the middle of the night, or they're scared, or you just have to change a diaper when you don't feel like it, they come first. It is a hard lesson, but one that has made me grow me so much since becoming a mom.
I love to hear them tell me "Mom, you're the best!" when honestly, I know there are times when I have let them down. This is a daily thing I work on with the Lord, being a better mom and wife.
My daughter. I know that sounds too easy, but it is true. I just love that girl! :) And, she really is the BEST thing about being a mom...not to mention the reason I am a mom! :)
