I have a Facebook fan page for my blog because I have so many friends who DON'T blog and DON'T follow blogs through a reader. By providing a link right there on their FB page, I make it easy for them to read my blog each day!
Yes, I do have a FB page for my blog. I found that I was constantly uploading the links to my daily posts, and knew that there were some of my FB friends that didn't care about the link. Using Networked Blogs on FB allows me to not have to worry about posting the link every day, and allows those who want to follow my blog to just "like" my page for updates in their feed. Whew!! That was a major run-on sentence! =)
I do not have a Facebook fan page, but I do have my blog linked to Network Blogs. Any time I post, it will post to my profile through Network blogs so those that follow my personal FB page will be able to read my posts.
Nope! The last thing I need is just one more thing online to keep up with! Plus... there'd be nothing new on it. I already have a Facebook. I already have a blog. A combination of the two would bring nothing new to the table... besides more work for me!
I have a "network blog" page set up on facebook. I do not want a fan page to keep up with... my blog & my main facebook page is enough for me right now :)
I have both a personal Facebook page and Facebook page for my blog as well. I've found that my Facebook page for my blog is harder to keep up with than I thought it would be but I'd like it to eventually be a great resource. Originally I used Networked Blogs on my personal page, but I post frequently to my blog and didn't want to overwhelm people. If they "like" my page, I assume they are interested in reading my posts so I don't feel badly if I post often.
I'm not on Facebook because I don't like Facebook. It's not a social media I agree with, and wouldn't want to promote it by creating a Fan page. It's one of those areas of my blog I had to pray about when trying to grow my reader base. I feel I'm not led to use Facebook at this time. Great question! Thanks! :o)

No, I don't...because I like to have a little bit of separation between my blog/journal and my FB life.

ReplyDeleteI don't - but I've been thinking about it for the reason Chrissy stated.
ReplyDeleteNo, no facebook for me!

ReplyDeleteI don't do Facebook! I'm trying my best to streamline my time on the computer, and as it is, I already have two other blogs in the making!
ReplyDeleteI just don't know how I could do Facebook without my family no longer recognizing MY face!Lol
I don't have one, I'm not on Facebook.
